Westbury Park Foxes exists for the benefit of the players, and it's the well-being of these children who are at the heart of everything we do.

Child Welfare is therefore very important. It covers safeguarding, bullying and respect, which we as a club take very seriously. You can see our policy on this here.

We have a Club Welfare Officer who is registered with the Football Association, and is always available to answer your questions. Our coaches and managers have been Enhanced CRB checked, and many have attended safeguarding workshops as part of their FA accredited coaching courses. The CRB checking is carried out by the FA's approved DBS service provider, who pass the details of these checks back to the FA for approval. Checks are repeated every three years.

We are all responsible for the vigilence in making sure that Westbury Park Foxes is a safe and fun environment for our children to learn how to play and enjoy football. If you have any concerns, your first point of contact is our Club Welfare Officer. Alternatively, our safeguarding policy identifies some alternative points of contact.

If you want to know more about child welfare in general, you can find more details on the FA's website.
